Nuclear Medicine - Certification Examination Results
Graduates of the RMU program in
Nuclear Medicine Technology who hope to work in that field must pass
certification examinations administered by the Nuclear Medicine Technology
Certification Board (NMTCB) or an equivalent examination administered by the American
Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Most RMU NMT students elect to take the NMTCB certification examination
as it can be taken pre-graduation. The
ARRT examination is only available post-graduation.
Of the NMT’s May 2018 graduating
cohort of 18 students, 15 (83%) passed the NMTCB certification examination
on their first attempt. Three students passed the examination on their second attempt which resulted in a 95%
certification pass rate for that cohort. |
